Wanee Lake Golf & RV Campground

RV Traveler: Kevin J.
RV Type: All are welcome!
Departure: From any where your coming from.
Destination: Ashburn, GA
Park Name: Wanee Lake Golf & RV Campground
About: Wanee Lake Country Club is a 9 hole golf course located just west of Ashburn, Georgia. It was built in the late 60's and offers rolling hills, beautiful pine trees, and a 7 acre lake that challenges golfers and fishermen alike. That's right, as soon as you finish a round of golf, you can pull out the fishing poles and do some angling!
Attractions: The current ownership of David Jackson, Tommy Surles, J.T. Surles, and Lori Blush opened the RV park in March 2007.

Joshua Tree National Park

Week 7 Winner

RV Traveler: Connie F.
RV Type: 35' Four Winds Infinity
Departure: 4 years ago!
Destination: Twentynine Palms, CA
Park Name: Joshua Tree National Park
About: While visiting JTNP, be sure to visit a Visitor's Center(there are 3). You will learn so much and be overwhelmed with all the things you will want to do in this awesome park. Our campsite was in the Indian Cove Campground which is accessed from the north side of the park between the towns of Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms. The foreground of the photo is a desert wash. You can also see some of the variety of terrain and flora that is truly immense.
Attractions: Spring comes early and we were able to witness an incredible display of desert flowers in February. Nearby are the cities of Palm Springs, Cathedral City, and Indio. And, then the Salton Sea and ... There's so much more, we know we need to go back (and I feel that way about most all of the places we've been).
