About: Many have claimed that Point Lobos is the greatest meeting of land and water in the world. This park is a nature lovers dream come true. The combination of wildlife and sightseeing makes this park the "crown jewel" of the state park system! The reserve once housed Chinese and Japanese Fisherman in the 1850's.
Attractions: The fact that there are 20 campgrounds within a half hour drive is amazing. Some of the activities within the reserve consist of scuba diving, kayaking, and hiking. Attractions near Point Lobos consist of the Whaling Station Museum, Carmel River State Beach, and of course one of America's most awarded golf courses Pebble Beach.
